The expression has remained Hennessy’s benchmark XO since — a blend of over 100 eaux-de-vie from all four Cognac crus, with the youngest component aged at least ten years and older components running up to 30 years, blended to express seven successive tasting chapters: a sensory journey from woody and spicy opening notes through candied fruit, chocolate, and a long velvety finish.
