Ak Zanj Haitian Dark Rum is a Haitian-aged dark rum — “Ak Zanj” translating from Creole as “With Angels,” a reference to the Angel’s Share lost to evaporation as the rum matures in barrels. Under Haiti’s tropical climate, the Angel’s Share can reach 10% annually, and the more the angels drink, the more concentrated and complex the remaining rum becomes.Tasting Notes
