Description
Schladerer Schwarzwälder Obstwasser is a clear, unaged apple-and-pear fruit brandy from the Alfred Schladerer distillery in Germany’s Black Forest.
“Obstwasser” means fruit water — a clear eau-de-vie distilled mainly from apples with a portion of pears. Schladerer selects fruit from the Markgräflerland, the Black Forest, and the Lake Constance region, ferments and distills it in the traditional Black Forest manner, and bottles it clear with no aging or added sugar. The result is bright, fruity, and exceptionally clean.
